Welcome
to the launch of Powers Ministries Cyber Church - "Seekers
on the Bay".
This page has been created for those who, for whatever reason,
have not found a place for spiritual renewal, a place of reflection,
a safe harbor of contemplation or anchor of hope.
Each week will be posted a Powerfilled Pontification of Platitudes
from various authors, speakers, and members of the clergy,
that I am hopeful will provide those of you who choose to
"Seek" a place to ponder your relationship with
God.
It has been my passion of late to seek a way in which I may
be of extended service to the Lord , this quest has led to
"Seekers on the Bay" and a Cyber church.I certainly
welcome any requests, comments or prayer requests via e-mail.

The Maker of all human beings is recalling all
units manufactured, regardless of make or year, due to a serious
defect in the primary and central component of the heart.
This is due to a malfunction in the original prototype units
code named Adam and Eve, resulting in the reproduction of
the same defect in all subsequent units. This defect has been
technically termed, "Subsequential Internal Non-morality,"
or more commonly known as S. I. N., as it is primarily expressed.
Some other symptoms:
1. Loss of direction
2. Foul vocal emissions
3. Amnesia of origin
4. Lack of peace and joy
5. Selfish, or violent behavior
6. Depression or confusion in the mental component
7. Fearfulness
8. Idolatry
9. Rebellion
The Manufacturer, who is neither liable nor
at fault for this defect, is providing factory authorized
repair and service free of charge to correct this SIN defect.
The Repair Technician, Jesus, has most generously
offered to bear the entire burden of the staggering cost of
these repairs. There is no additional fee required. The number
to call for repair in all areas is: P-R-A-Y-E-R. Once connected,
please upload your burden of SIN through the REPENTANCE procedure.
Next, download ATONEMENT from the Repair Technician,
Jesus, into the heart component.
No matter how big or small the SIN defect is,
Jesus will replace it with:
1. Love
2. Joy
3. Peace
4. Patience
5. Kindness
6. Goodness
7. Faithfulness
8. Gentleness
9. Self control

details on the use of these fixes.
WARNING: Continuing to operate the human being
unit without correction voids any manufacturer warranties,
exposing the unit to dangers and problems too numerous to
list and will result in the human unit being permanently impounded.
For free emergency service, call on JESUS.
DANGER: The human being units not responding
to this recall action will have to be scrapped in the furnace.
The SIN defect will not be permitted to enter Heaven so as
to prevent contamination of that facility.

This from Ann Landers that I saved
for years and now want to share with you all !!
1. Keep skid chains on your tongue.
Always say less than you think.Cultivate a low, persuasive
voice. How you say it often counts more than what you say.
2. Make promises sparingly and
keep them faithfully, no matter what the cost.
3. Never let an opportunity pass
to say a kind word to or about somebody. Praise good work,
regardless of who did it.
4. Be interested in others:their
pursuits, their work, their homes, their families. Make merry
with those who rejoice; with those who weep, mourn. Let everyone
you meet , however humble, feel that you regard him as a person
of importance.
5.Be cheerful. Don't burden or
depress those around you by dwelling on your aches and pains
and small disappointments. Remember, everyone is carrying
some kind of burden.
6. Keep an open mind. Discuss but
don't argue. It is a mark of a superior mind to be able to
disagree without being disagreeable.
7.Let your virtues, if you have
any, speak for themselves. Refuse to talk about the vices
of others. Discourage gossip. It is a waste of valuable time
and can be destructive and hurtful.
8. Take into consideration the
feelings of others. Wit and humor at the expense of another
is never worth the pain that may be inflicted.
9. Pay no attention to ill-natured
remarks about you. Remember, the person who carried the message
may not be the most accurate reporter in the world. Simply
live so that nobody will believe him. Disordered nerves and
bad digestion are a common cause of back-biting.
10. Don't be anxious about the
credit due you. Do your best and be patient. Forget about
yourself and let others "remember". Success is much
sweeter that way.

Freezing Fear of Feeble
Faith?
Two closely related enemies meet
us at the threshold of passionate living; freezing fear and
feeble faith. People of passion respond by being alert to
life's opportunities and trusting God as they walk through
life's thresholds with boldness. These doors can appear in
any area of our daily life. They may take the form of opportunities
for advancement at work, developing new skills, continuing
education, or meeting new people. They may come as opportunities
for greater levels of ministry or a deeper personal commitment
to your spiritual growth. Or they may appear as opportunities
for family growth, increased obedience in financial stewardship,
or setting new priorities for family finances.
Be always mindful and watch for newly opening doors. God's
work is accomplished in this world through them. Don't allow
feeble faith to leave you standing at the doorstep. Be a person
of passion who not only sees God's opportunities but charges
through them with faith in His provision.
