As a Non-demoniational Memorial Chaplain and minister, I'm called upon by many families with differing beliefs to facilitate and officiat Memorials and Celebrations of Life with a sensitive and spiritual focus.

Celebration of Life starts with a simple premise: That every life is meaningful and deserves to be celebrated. From that basic idea, whether on a beautiful beach at sunset, quiet peaceful garden environment, church, chapel, or private residence, your location of choice; Rev Powers is committed to incorporate your personal touches, because giving honor, comfort, and closure during this time of remembrance for a loved one makes the entire experience more meaningful.

Families and friends are provided guidance to make the choices which allow them to create a memorable tribute, coming together to remember, reflect and celebrate the unique life of their loved one while providing a positive focus on your loved one’s life while everyone says their good-byes.

It’s a celebration of life instead of dwelling on death.

Burial at Sea

A Burial at Sea by way of the scattering of ashes ceremony has been a celebrated memorial service since our earliest human history. A scattering of ashes at sea ceremony coupled with a lying of a wreath or scattering of flowers and pedals is also in concert with the celebration of the circle of life; the ebb and flow of life as the seas. Dear Reverend Powers,

On behalf of our family, I would like to express our thanks to you for your kind words at the memorial service of my mother, Susan Thomas, last Friday, January 6th. Even though you didn't know her, you were able to capture her spirit, passions, and joie de vivre and share them with those who attended. And thank you for honoring her wishes and reading the poem that so perfectly expressed her thoughts on death and her wishes for those who are left behind.

We appreciate you honoring her memory so eloquently and helping us to remember and celebrate her life. I think she was listening in and smiling down upon us.

Thank you again for your wonderful words at Panfilo Enojas' ceremony yesterday. My name is Kyle and I am 1 of his and Ney's 13 grandchildren and the son of Cheryl, 1 of their 4 children.
